Tlio following business was trims acted : Ferry Licens was granted to W. II. Lemon of St. Doroin tor the sum of $5 for one year from April 20, 1800. Skiff ferry license was granted to Joseph McUlury of Hro.wnvillH for the sum of $2 for one year frfm date. Tlio treasurer whs ordered to strike from the list all poll tax assessed against Hurry 15. Woodriug for the ya.tr 1S05. Hoard adjourned to April 15. April 16. T'io road petition of Hur niuk S'uifor for the location of a public road between scutlons 4 and 5, and 10 and 17, township 4 range l;J, was dis allowed. The road petition of August Krounce for a county road on township line be tween Uenton and Washington pre cincts was granted and the road ordored located. The following orders were made to the treasurer: To compute and collect taxes on the southwest quarter of southeast quarter of section 17, township b, range 14, on a valuation of $100 instead of $210 as returned by the assessor. To compute the taxes on lot 1 of 1 of 8 of the southeast quarter of section 7 township 5 rangy 13 for the year 1803, on a valuation of $225, said tax having been paid under protest, and refund the balance of said tax so protested. To refund six and fourtoeii'onu-hun-d red tli ($014) dollars on tax receipt 007, paid under protest by J. L. Selgn-. ur. hoard adjourned to A pi 11 10. April 10. Lots 1 and 2 block 05, Peru, was ordered Bold for delinquent taxes. The following orders were made to the treasurer: To refund to II. T. W. Pritch $3 on account of error in computing tax list . 'Io receive taxes assessed against. Katie Daugherty for thu year 1805 on a valuation of 61,074 instead of $2,430 as returned by the assessor. To lefuud the poll tax ausesied auaiust George JLterausou and paid un der protest, he being over 50 yeara of age To transfer the taxes on the north hat of eoutheast quarter of section 13 township 5 range 10, also lot ( of same quarter, from school district 35 to school djsti ict 30, and correct the error. To compute the personal taxes of Julia A. Hughes on a valuation of 5381 instead of $505 tor the year 1804. To transfer the assesjment of 1805 on the northeast quarter of flection 14 township 5 range 13 from school dis trict 80 to school district 21, where it belongs, and compute tuxes at 15 in stead of 32 mills. To correct and collect the personal tuxes of Holding and Rubra as per order. Tlio otllcial bond of Jumes Cowoll, road supervisor of district 41, was up pi oved. The settlement of Casner Harnes, road .supervisor of district 34, was ex audited and approved. W, H. Lohr was appointed justice of the peace and George Taylor appointed constable to till vacancy in Bedford precinct The claims of Henry Adams for S10.50 and W. E. Adams for S3 were disallowed.
