McNeil, formerly 6f this city, but now located at Denver has been transacting business and visiting friends in town this week. Mc Cauley was held from tho Episcopal church Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rov. Chas. F. Chapman. Numer ous floral tributes in evidence attested of tho esteem in which tho deceased was held. Interment was made in the North Platto cemetery. Mrs. Valentine Scharman and two grandsons returned Tuesday night from Los Angles. Some timo ago the family went to California and invested in a fruit farm, expecting to locate there but tho cllmato did not prove agreeable to Mrs. Scharman'o health and they will again mako their home in this city.
