Notice to Electric Light Patrons.
Since we changed our system to tho
00 cycle" current which our new ap
paratus generates, havo discovered
that some of our meters, p rticularly
ono type of Westinghouso meter, nro
running too fast. Tho adjustment
provided by the factory seems not to
give tho proper compensation for tho
altered currant, and to standardize
them will require a test of all our me
ters, which cannot easily bo done with
out day sorvico. We aro now install
ing n new engine for this purpose and
expect to bo operating a 24 hour sor
vico by April 1st, and we proposo to
then make n careful test of all meters
in use. Whatever per cent of inacur-
acy develops, if in the customers' favor,
will be placed to his credit, reckoning
back to Jany. 1st, or will bo refunded
if preforred. We trust our patrons
will consider this a fair adjustment of
the difficulty. L. W. Walkek, Mgr.
