Chief Deputy Game Warden Sim kins of Lincoln came up Wednes doy morning and has been spending the past day or two shooting prairie chickens. The G. A. At the meeting of base ball en thusiasts Tuesday evening a committee of seven was appointed to draft a constitution and by laws to govern a proposed association. This; committee met' last evening and performed its work and will make a report at a meeting to be held at the club rooms Monday evening next. It was suggested that a minstrel performance be given to raise funds for futherlng baseball matters, and on motion a committee of five was appointed to make arrangements tor this entertainment. The com mittee met Wednesday afternoon and transacted considerable prelim inary work. This committee will also make a report at the meeting to be held Monday evening, It is hoped thatthe meeting Mon day evening will be largely at tended by those interested in base ball and the formation of an associ ation.
