Locdl Tlic board of education will hold a special meeting Thursday night to wind up the year's business. The majority of those who were in attendance at the W. N. E. A. left for their homes Saturday night, A very brief term of distlctj court was held yesterday morning and then it was adjourned until Saturday, May 5th. The new city officials will take their scats at a regular meeting of the council to be held in the county judge's office tonight. The Senior class expects to at tend the state oratorical contest which will be held at Kearney in about ten days. Miss Mary Sulli van is the contestant who will rep resent North Platte.
