It is the order of the board that
$2,500 be transferred from the Bridere
fund to the Road fund.

A DEAD LETTER
A colored man in Chattanooga,
Tenn., wrote this letter to a colored
man in Macon, Ga.:
"Dear Sam: Is you dead or is you
alive? If you is alive, send me that

A week later George received this

ten dollars was ued to help buy my
