An Ordinance prohibiting the drlv
lng, hauling, operating, or using of
traction engines, tractors, trucks,
vehicles, or heavy machines having
lugs, flanges, or ribs on their tires or
wheels, on the Paved Streets ot the
City of Alliance, Nebraska, and pro
hibiting the driving, hauling, operat
ing, or using of trucks, traction en
gines, tractors, vehicles, or heavy
machines weighing over 4000
pounds and . equipped with Iron,
metal, steel, or other hard surface
material tires or wheels upon the
paved streets and alleys of the City
ot Alliance, Nebraska, and providing
a penalty therefor.
Section 1. It shall be unlawful

metal, or other hard-surface-material
tires or wheels.
Section 3. Any Dersou convicted
of violating this vet shall be fined
not less than Ten Dollars and not
more than Fifty Dollars for each of
fense and shall pay all damages done
to the highway and the costs of pros
ecution. '
Section 4. This Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, approval and publi
cation, as provided by law.

WHEREAS, a Constitutional Con
vention called agreeable to law by
the people of the State of Nebraska
to meet December 2nd, 1919, and
whereas the members elected to said
Constitutional Convention did so
meet and provide that certain pro
posed amendments to the Constitu
tion be submitted to the electors of
the State for adoption or rejection.
and did further provide that said
proposed Constitutional amendments
be submitted at a special election to
be held throughout the State on
Tuesday, the twenty-first day of
September, 1920.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Samuel R.
McKelvie, Governor of the' State of
Nebraska, by authority of law In me
vested, do hereby direct and proclaim
that a special election be held in the
several polling places throughout
the State of Nebraska on Tuesday,
the twenty-first day of September,
1920, during the hours designated
by law for holding General Elections
for the purpose of adopting or reject
ing said proposed amendments.
