In the cases of those left In French cemeteries the relatives of the dead will be expected to assume In the future the responsibility for the care of the grates, for payment for the perpetual concession that Is, the permanent resting places of the bodies and for all olfcer charges for maintenance. The bodies that are to remain In France will be transferred from French to American cemeteries at the expense of the United States gov ernment. The object of removing the bodies from where they now rest is to concentratethem la American cemeteries so as to simplify the care of the graves.
