was taken suddenly ill with acute ap
pendicitis last Thursday, an opera
tion was performed Friday and death

Last night at 6 o'clock the marri
age of Lucille Curry to Mr. Cyrus
Simpson took place at the home of
the blrde's mother, Mrs. A. Curry.
The ceremony was performed by Rev.
Stephen J. Epler of the Christian
church. Eighty-five guests were
present. A turkey dinner was served
Immediately following the ceremony.
The couple received many beautiful
gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson will
make their home here.

work this week after several weeks
absence on account of the illness of
