Two or three weeks ago we dropped into the cigar store across the street and pro ceeded to get some stuff to satisfy our sweet tooth. We were handed out a sort of nougat mixture that tasted so good that we came again and several times more. It was so much better than the average run of the small package goods that we looked up the manufacturers, out of curiosity. We found them to be the Brecht company, who have been availing themselves of our advertis ing columns for the past month or more. There Isn't any real reason why candy should be confined prin cipally to the holiday season. It's an healthful, wholesome and nutri tious food, ns the government pur- the hint that if the other doxens of varieties manufactured by the Brecht company come up to those we have tried, there's no use in looking further. It's an easy name to re member and you'll find them on sale in half a dozen places in the city. For Sale One five room house, good condition. Modern except beat. Good location.
