Oil-Proof Cement.
A cement which will not be affected
by oil Is mads by mixing glycerine
and litharge to the consistency of a
thick paste. This will be found very
handy in repairing cracked oil reser
voirs or in making aa oil-tight Joint
between two metal plates. The cement
should be applied as soon as it la
