TOO BUSY TO WRITE
Live Wire Representing ft Live Mar
ket at Stockmen' Convention -
An editorial In the Sioux City Live
Stock Record of June 21, published
during the time of the tockmen'a
convention at Alliance, said:
The fact that no news is being re
ceived as ret from the booster bunch
at Alliance gives rise to a justifiable
suspicion that they are too busy to
write. And, If you have your bet
ting clothes on, it won't be bad policy
to buy a ticket reading that Alliance
knows there's a stock yards at Sioux
City.
Right you are. Mr. Editor. The
delegation from the Sioux City live
among the ranchmen and others
whom they met while attending the
convention In Alliance. The Idea
prevails that they were a bunch of
good fellows, live wires all of them,
and representing a live market for
live stock.

Kclipae of the Moon
Many watched the eclipse of the
moon Friday evening. The sky was
clear and the eclipse could be plainly
seen. It began about 9 o'clock,
reached its maximum about 10:30,
and was entirely over about mid
night. Only a portion of the moon's
face was obscured by the shadow.
The warm summer evening brought
many people out on the streets to
watch the eclipse. -
