Wage Increase for Kiilo)e All employes of the Burlington railroad in Nebraska are included in a wage increase granted by the road, which became effective May 1. En gineers, firemen and other trainmen, who have a wage scale with the com pany, are not effected by the in crease. Employes of the road In several other stales at also iacluded In the Increase and is granted officials say in view of the fact that the cost of living is continually growing higher. Signal repairmen on an hourly basis get an increase of one cent per hour. Bridge and building carpenters re ceiving 22 H cents or more per hour, get one cent an hour more. Water service men on hoursly bas is, one cent an hour more. Freight houae men on hourly bas in, one cent an hour more. All other employes on monthly basis, receiving $124 or less, get ap proximately a five per cent increase.
