The young couple re turned to their home this morning. SAXTON-ROACH A pleasant wedding occurred at the Methodist parsonage last night at 8 o'clock when Rer. Ray pro nounced the words that made Jos eph S. Saxton and Nettle May Roach man and wife. Only near relatives of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony. The groom Is the popular salesman at the Palace meat market, and the bride Is a well known and popular Dox Butte coun ty girl. The groom has a nicely fur nished home near the M. E. church to which the new couple repaired and commenced housekeeping at once. Congratulations. MARQUARDT-HUNZICKKR Today at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. William Marquardt and Miss Elizabeth Hunzlcker were mar ried. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Ray at o'clock. Only the Immediate relatives were present. Mr. Marquardt is a popular employe of the Durllngton shops here. The young couple will make this city their future home. On the afternoon of Feb. 22, 1905, at the home of Mrs. C. O. Asplnwall, 618 Cheyenne avenue, occurred one of the social features of the season. A handkerchief shower given In hon or of Miss Ada Schupp who will soon depart for a new home In St. Joseph, Mo The funeral of Grandma O'Keefe, whose death occurred last Thursday, took place Sunday forenoon from the Holy Rosary church at 10:30 o clock. The church was crowded and many were unable to gain admittance. Fa ther Galvin officiated. The annual meeting of the county medical association was held In the offices of Dr. Moore Wednesday night. The officers elected for the ensuing year are: Dr. Bowman, president; Dr. Bettlehelm, vice pres ident; Dr. Moore, secretary-treasur er. Bill Cllne went over to Sidney the first of the week and had scarcely ar rived there until he was arrested for cattle stealing. Among the Alliance people who will go down to the pre liminary trial today are Neil Boone, Frank Boone, Charles Snow, R. M. Hampton and John Eckman. W. E. Spencer, the representative of the Harding Cream Company, Is up In the northwestern part of the state this week on business. Chaplain E. W. White closed a series of revival meetings at the Baptist church last Friday night. The meetings were successful In every way.
