Delegates and visitors were agreeably surprised upon visiting our exhibit, which was complete in detail and
artistic arrangement, showing the up-to-the minute Fire Fighting Equipment in Brass Goods, Rubber Coats, Boots,
Caps, Helmets and Bunker Suits, all manufactured with view of special service for Firemen. A large badge case,
showing showing every kind of badge imaginable, attracted much attention. Also a Siren Horn, which was some
noise maker. This firm handles everything from suspenders to a ten thousand dollar Pumping Apparatus.
Our company was represented by D. L. Cubberly and Jule Pearse, Jr., who were much gratified at the wide
publicity their exhibit received. All seemed to be anxious to see and become acquainted with the apparatus being
shown. Mr. Julius Pearse, Sr., the founder of this company, was for many years on the Denver Volunteer Fire
Department, afterwards becoming Chief of the Denver Paid Department, which position he occupied for some
eighteen years. .
