OA Monday night, the home of W. E. Lotapoich, 14 tulles south of Bingham burned to the ground. The house was a large two story one and had (Owly "been built about two years. No cue was In the house at the time of the fire, the family all being In Al liance where they make their home during the winter to send the child ren to school. Monday morning a lady riving neighbor to Mr. Iots ftelch, who had been doing the bak ing for the family, went to the house and built up a good fire and did the baking for them, returning to her home about noon, shutting the stove .up tight before leaving the house. It Is thought by almost everyone wh aw the fire that the house caught tire in the second story or garret. from the chimney. The fire was a big lose to Mr. Lorspeich and family besides having la's of nice furniture la the house the boys, had stored their saddles and chaps, and other valuables in the gurret, one of the addles lost being a brand new sixty- atve dollar one. E. Fosddck has moved in to Bingham after spending the last even months on her homestead Clyde says he was getting mighty tired of batching. C. H. Foedick went to Broken Bow o register for a homestead. Mrs. V. L. Thompson who has .been sfc-k for the last two weeks went to the hospital at Alliance Fii 4y. W. M. Nor. 27-41-343-3023 FED OVER 300 AT DINNER Turkey Dinner Given Thanksgiving Day by Christian Church People Big Success The turkey dinner given Thanks giving day by the Christian church was a grand success from a finan cial standpoint aa well as from the stand point of satisfied people. Over 300 were fed and many were turned away. The turkey ran out before all were fed. The booths were patron ized faii'ly well and over $100 was cleared.
