Chicago, Jan. .10, 1913. Th supply
of cattle here Monday was 11,000

view of the decreased supplies and
cold weather, better tltiivgs were
thought to be in store for the beef

warm weather in the east proved a
big bar against a broad trade in
beef. Trading In main was at Itesdj

Since the first few days of organisa

In the messages bf both the out

were strong recommendations favor
ing the divorce of confirmed con

end the penitentiary must be reor

addressed the legislature a few days
ago and he stated that the Lincoln

The liveliest spat of the session
occurred when Fuller's telephone bill.

bill would gtve the matter of tele

county bonrds of commissioners or
supervisors and authorize them to
act within their counties in much
the same capacity that the railway
commission acts in the state. They
would establish rates and fix rules

other bill has been introduced re

of messages back and forth between
exchanges.
