A Vote for Wilson is a Vote for Good Government"
Tariff protected trusts have fattened at the expense of the people until, under the leader
ship of the champions of Democracy, there has come a popular uprising, demanding a
change in the affairs of the government. Alarmed at the popular demand for progress
ive legislation, a great effort is being made to defeat reform in government by nominating
the same old class of reactionary candidates under the name "Progressive."
This is Democracy's Year
The people will not be deceived longer. Those who serve monopolies and special inter
ests under the name "Republican" will do the same if elected to office under any other
name. The demand for reform in government in the interests of the people has come
through the persistent agitation of Democrats. ,
Insure Progressive G o v eminent
by electing to office the candidates nominated as Democrats. They have shown in State
government, as well as in the National Congress, that Democracy means the rule of the
people. Make no mistake. i
mi h Your Ticket: DEMOCRAT . .
One cross X will be sufficient. Mark it in the circle opposite the word DEMOCRAT
at the head of the ballot. No other mark on the ballot will then be needed.
