In this respect as well as In the num bers offered It is vastly superior to the course of last year. The follow ing is a short description of the numbers: 1. The Rounds orchestra was or ganized in ts!f by H. O. Rounds and has eleven people In the .company. The orchestra has played in even city of over 200,000 in the United States and Canada. Their program consists of instrumental selections, vocal solos, duets, trios, etc. Read ings, impersonations, monologues, etc. Single admission to this number will be 75 cents. 2. Edmund Vance Cooke needs no introduction to many Alliance peo ple, as he was here some years ago. This Insures a warm welcome for him when he comes this year. He Is the noted oet-lecturer and the cultured people of Alliance will glad ly hear him. 3. Skovgaaid Concert Co. Is mak ing a coast to coast trip and has a date in our city. There are three members to this company but the most important member Is Skov- gaard himself. He Is a famous vio linist, carries $50,000 insurance on his hand and playB upon a $13,000 violin. Single admission to this num ber5 will be 76 cents. 4. "Alvah Green," says the Kan sas City Times, "is one of the best entertainers we ever had In our town." He Is an Impersonator and all his changes of costume are made on the platform before the audience, 5. Dr. Slas may be best under stood by reading some of the titles to his lectures. Here are two: "The Ixxst Chord," and "The Vision Splendid." People who delight In refined thought and enraptured ora tory will crowd to hear 8las. 6. Caferelll Concert Co. has three members In It. They play on var ious instruments: violin, bells, piano. But their specialty is the harp. That insure.- ub a great treat.
