Axel Lind is moving his family and personal effects from Waterbury this week to the II W O'Neill farm, which he has rented for tue coming year. Mrs J E Jenkinson of Sioux Gity, spent over Tuesday night with her folks here. Mrs M Lyons returned to her home at W inside Tuesday after an over Sun- lay visit with her little daughter at St Catherine's academy. She also vis ited iu the Mrs Catharine Twohig and D T Clark homes at Vista. Oa last Friday evening a splendid program was rendered by members of the musio class of St Catherine's ac ademy. The instrumental number showed a mastery of technique ai d an appreciative interpretation of the composers' thought, nhich would credit to professional musicisiiH, while the pure tones and exquisite sweetness of the vocal selection are rarely found in artists so young. The one regretable feature was that the small Assembly Hall could not accom modate the number of patrons who are always eager to enjoy aud applaud the excellent in musio. Edward, the little sou of Edward Keainey of this place, passed away at St Joseph's hospital, Monday night, after a brief illness. Little "Billiu" as he was familiarly called, was two years old and the only son of Mr an! Mrs Kearney. He was a winsome, lovable baby, sturdy and strong. always happy and smiling up to the time of his fatal sickness. The re mains were brought here Wednesday morning over the C & N W It R, and were met at the station by a large fu neral procession who followed the re mains to St John's cemetery, where in terment waa made, Tbe entiie com munity extend their deepest and most sincere sympathy to the family in this their hour of sorrow. This community was shocked to hear of the death of one of its pioneer resi dents, "Uncle" John Blessing, which occurred Suuday night. Waldo Hoy of South Sioux City, who has rented tho Chris Geister faun for the coming yeur, was married at South Sioux City Wednesduy to Miss Mabel G Waddell, daughter of Albert Waddell of Allen, Neb. Madious Loamur's team furnished a little diversion for the people of Da kota City Wednesday (as well as for Madious) when they broke loose from a hitching post aud took a spin around town. Iu their mad chase they collid ed with a telephone pole and broke the wagon tongue, and scattered the harness to the four winds Madious spent the afternoou gathering up the wreck and making repairs.
