Berry Wins In Contest The conot was finished in the Berry McAllister contest case over the coun ty attorneyship last Friday, whioh was heard before Judge Stiuson. The re sult gave Berry a majority of 18 votes over MoAluster. McAllister immediately gave notice of appeal to the district oourt, and the bond was fixed at 1900.00. This in cluded $200 for costs and $700 or twioe the amount of six months salary of the office. J J McAllister, the defendent in the ease, who was elected to the office on the face of the returns by a majority of seven votes, took the oath of office on the 7th Inst, and will serve as coun ty attorney until the case is heard in the district oourt. The greatest ohange in the recount was made in Summit precinct, where a ohange of eleven votes was made front McAllister to Berry, and whioh shows that there was undoubtedly HOMER.
