A disastrous runaway ooourrod just north of town Wednesday afternoon, in which Mrs Ollie Fisher and two year old child and Miss Anderson, a nurse from Sioux City, narrowly escaped being killed. A big driving team driven by a Mr Fisher and belong ing to Mr Sommers, manager of the Sioux City brewery, became un manageable near the Chas Bryant place and after throwing the driver out, started north on the dead run, overtaking the rig driven by Mrs Fisher and plunging into the rear of the buggy. The Fisher buggy was completely demolished and the oocu pants trampled under the feet of the frightened team. Passengers on the Foye car, which came along about that time, saw the accident and hurried to the assistance of the injured people. Mrs Fisher escaped with a few bruises as did her little child. Miss Ander son, however, received some bad cuts and bruises, and in trying to extricate herself from the entanglement her clothes were completely torn to shreds. The injured ones were taken on the Foy car to South Sioux City, where medical aid was summoned to dress their injuries.
