At night he spoke on the Electrocution of James King, drawing impressive lessons which would have benefftted all the young people of Omaha, could they have been present. A number of visitors were present, among whom were Dr. A. B. Madison, Mrs. Maynard ti. Wilson and Mrs. Martha Middleton. Sermon topics next Sunday will be, morning, “The Value of the New Birth”; evening, "The Purpose of Christianity”. Miss Ruby Redd who was our delegate to the District con ference became a great favorite. METHODISTS PURCHASE , CHCRCH AND PARSONAGE The C. M. E. Church which for sev eral months has been worshipping in a hall at Twenty-fourth and Charles streets have purchased the handsome brick church edifice and frame par sonage of the Danish Methodists at Twenty-fifth and Decatur streets, of which they expect to take possession soon. The Rev. s. M. Graves, who a few months ago succeeded the Rev. A.
